The Wexford GAA and Glen Fuels awards took place last night…
As expected, the two Wexford Senior football finalists have made up most of the team.
The Shelmaliers, who are the 2021 Senior Football champions, received seven individual honours. Meanwhile, Gusserane, the runners-up from this year’s championship, have five players named on the team of the year.
The 2021 Wexford club football team of the year was confirmed at the awards night and it is as follows:

5. Rory O’Connor (St Martins)
6. Mark O’Neill (Gusserane)
7. Simon Donohoe (Shelmaliers)
8. Glen Malone (Shels)
9. Martin O’Connor (Bunclody)
10. Conor Hearne (Shels)
11. Graeme Cullen (Gusserane)
12. Paudie Hughes (Kilanerin)
13. Sean Mini Ryan (Gusserane)
14. Brian Malone (Shels)
15. Mark Rossiter (Gusserane)
Meanwhile, Bunclody native Martin O’Connor received the Player of the Year award, while Ben Martin, also from the Bunclody club, received the Young Player of the Year award.
