Wexford FC Player Named Ireland U-15 Player Of The Year

It’s always good to receive an individual honour like this…

After an incredible season with the Ireland U-15 squad, Wexford FC player Kaylem Harnett has been named as Ireland’s U-15 Player of the Year for the 2021/22 season.

Coláiste Éamonn Rís student Kaylem made 12 appearances for the Republic of Ireland MU15s during the 2021/22 season.

He made his international debut in a 2-0 win over Montenegro in Podgorica and featured in all but one game for Jason Donohue’s side.

He has since gone on to feature for Paul Osam’s MU16 side and was part of the squad that lifted the Victory Shield in Waterford in October.

Throughout the campaign, Kaylem excelled in the right-back position and this accolade is just a testament to that.

There is no doubt that this young man has an exciting future ahead of him.
