Irish Rail Add New Services Which Will Benefit Wexford Commuters

It’s some good news for Wexford people…

Wexford commuters are set to benefit from additional services now offered by Irish Rail.

It comes as Irish Rail announced the addition of two new train times.

An additional train service will now go from Dublin Connolly to Gorey at 20:05. Previously, the latest train going back was at 18:35.

Likewise, Irish Rail have also added a train from Gorey to Dublin which will leave at 22:25 and will arrive at 0:08.

Speaking on the decision, advocacy group South East on Track said:

“Great news for the South East today with confirmation of additional evening trains on the Rosslare line. Eventually, we’d like to see this night service extended to Wexford town. Thanks to everyone who took part in the timetable consultation,” they said.

The new services will be in place from Monday 22nd May.
