St.Peter’s College of Wexford will face Moate CS of Westmeath this Friday (tomorrow) in the Leinster A Senior Football Schools Final.
The game will be played at 1 pm in Portlaoise.
Although St.Peter’s are renowned for their hurling, their footballers this year have reached the Leinster final for the first time in 25 years.
The team is managed by Senior Footballers, Brian Malone and Shane Roche.
They Wexford natives saw off Wicklow Schools in the semi-final in St.Patrick’s Park of late on a scoreline of 0:13-0:8 in a thrilling atmospheric encounter. In the other semi-final, Moate CS overthrew Good Counsel of New Ross by 4 points to claim a place in the final.
