St Mogues Fethard Advance To All-Ireland Hurling Semi-Final

St.Mogues of Fethard travelled to Ruislip in London to compete in the All-Ireland Junior Hurling quarter-final on Saturday.

On November 15, St. Mogues of Fethard captured their very first piece of Leinster silverware after defeating John Locke’s of Kilkenny in the Leinster JHC final.

And now, after travelling to London, they have emerged victorious against Brother Pearses GAA club by three points.

Judging by Fethard’s twitter account, Mikie Dwyer, Garrett Foley and Daire Barden all excelled in their respective positions.

Saturday 20th of January is the provisional date down for the All-Ireland Junior hurling semi-final against Sylane GAA club from Galway.

Notably, Fethard were not the only Wexford team to advance today, as the Kilanerin footballers won the Leinster Intermediate final too, which marked a very successful day for Wexford clubs.
