Former Model County manager John Meyler returns to familiar surroundings this Sunday…
Now managing the Cork Senior hurling team, Meyler will travel to Wexford Park with his Rebel outfit with the hope of attaining a second win of the 2018 League campaign.
Cork enter the game following a demanding first-round victory over Kilkenny in the hurlers first outing in the renovated Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
However, attaining a win won’t be plain sailing, especially considering the form Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford enter the game. A successful Walsh Cup campaign that concluded with Shaun Murphy lifting silverware followed by an impressive opening League round victory against neighbours Waterford, Davy Fitzgerald’s side are showing zero signs of stopping.
