North End Secure Wexford League Title Before End Of Season’s Fixtures

After remarkably winning the national FAI Junior Cup 5-4 on penalties, North End continued their success with a win over Corach Ramblers on Wednesday evening in Curracloe.

Full time: 

North End 3-0 Corach Ramblers 

Goals on the night were from Paul ‘Spot’ Murphy, Kyle Dempsey and Jay Murphy.

Out of their 19 games played, North End have won 17, drawn 1 and lost just one.

The result meant North End regained the Wexford Premier League title, and it was a result that capped off a memorable few weeks for the Wexford club.

While they’ve already secured silverware, John Godkin’s side will hope to finish the league in style with a win over second-place rivals Shamrock Rovers in their final game.
