In a battle of the Fords, it was the Wexford u-20 footballers that emerged on the winning side on Monday afternoon.
Full time: Wexford 3-13 – 2-09 Longford
They’ve got their first result of the group campaign, having previously lost to Westmeath just last weekend.
They’re now chasing a top-two position, and they’ll be welcoming Dublin, who are two-from-two, to Wexford Park on June 16th. Also, if Longford manage to attain a victory against Westmeath, Wexford will gain the top-two spot and march onto the Leinster semi-final stages.
