For the sake of this article, let’s say Galway win the Leinster final replay, Wexford defeat Westmeath, and Limerick overcome Carlow in their respective preliminary quarter-finals.

All-Ireland Quarter-Final: (July, 15th/ 16th)
Wexford vs Clare

(Limerick/Carlow vs [Leinster runner-up, Kilkenny/Galway)
Prediction: Limerick vs Kilkenny
If Wexford defeat Westmeath, they’ll compete against Clare in an All-Ireland quarter-final pairing, a game which would likely take place as part of a double-header in Semple Stadium, Thurles in less than two weeks time.

At this stage, Carlow, Kilkenny and Westmeath are out of the All-Ireland series. Not to mention Tipperary, Waterford, Dublin and Offaly who didn’t make it past the round-robin stages.
