After Wexford defeated Westmeath in Mullingar, the Senior hurlers now face Clare in the All-Ireland SHC Quarter-final.

Speculation arose regarding the choice of venue; whether it would be played in Thurles, Pairc Ui Chaoimh, while others even suggested Tullamore and Croke Park.

Now, a mark can be crossed through the speculation, as the GAA have confirmed the date, venue and times for the upcoming Wexford-Clare All-Ireland Quarter-final.

Date: Saturday, July 14th

Venue: Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Cork

Time: 3pm

Unfortunately, it won’t be hosted as a double-header with the Kilkenny vs Limerick All-Ireland Quarter-final, as Semple Stadium will play host to that game on Sunday at 2pm.
