Fancy Wexford To Lift Liam In 2019? The Bookies Have Released Their Odds

On Sunday last, Limerick were famously crowned All-Ireland Senior Hurling Champions after overcoming Galway in a sold-out Croke Park.

The Treaty County ended a 45-year famine as they brought the Liam McCarthy Cup back to Shannonside. And, that victory, is something Wexford could take some source of inspiration from.

Wexford haven’t won an All-Ireland since 1996.

22 years and counting. It’s been a long time.

And while it’s sometimes hard to believe that famous victory against Limerick came 22 years ago, it’s the harsh truth… and we’ve been waiting to relive those glory days ever since.

Now, Irish bookmaker PaddyPower has released their odds for the upcoming 2019 championship – and it’s fair to say, they don’t believe the Yellowbellies’ drought will come to its end in 2019.

The odds for the 2019 All-Ireland Hurling Outright winners are, as follows:

Galway 5/2

Limerick 9/2

Cork 5/1

Tipperary 5/1

Kilkenny 6/1

Clare 9/1

Waterford 14/1

Wexford 20/1

Dublin 25/1

Carlow 1000/1
