Assessing stats from hurling games isn’t always the brightest of ideas…
With Davy’s game-plan, the sweeper system, and the workload placed on a two-man full forward line, it’s inevitable that some players won’t always find themselves topping the scoresheets.
Despite this, we can’t deny that we love looking at stats from games, especially the scoring statistics.
So far in the Allianz NHL, Wexford played Limerick, Cork and, Tipperary. Fitzgerald’s charges lost the opener to Limerick (2-11 – 1-17), but they have since defeated Cork away (0-17 – 1-18), and Tipperary at home (1-15 – 1-14).
