[Report] Wexford Might Have To Give Up Home Advantage For Leinster Championship Match

According to a recent report, Wexford might have to give up their home advantage for the opening round of the Leinster Championship…

A report, which emerged from the Hoganstand, claims that Wexford are “in a race against time” to host the opening football clash versus Louth.

The match is due to be played on May 12th at Innovate Wexford Park, but “the county grounds is undergoing some badly needed remedial work, and the pitch is slow to respond to the repairs.”

Ten days out, this is far from an ideal situation for Paul McLoughlin’s side, who require any advantage they can take from the looming Leinster Champinoship campaign.
