Bookies Release Odds And Have Dubs As Favourites To Beat Wexford In Leinster Hurling Championship

The bookies have released their odds ahead of Wexford’s eagerly awaited Leinster hurling clash against the Dubs…

Although it might come as a surprise to many Wexicans, most bookmakers across the country have the Dubs as slight favourites for the tie.

On Betfair, the odds are coming in as:
Dublin 4/5
Draw 8/1
Wexford 5/4

The fact that the Dubs have home advantage is probably the sole factor swaying the bookies in their favour. In last year’s Leinster Championship round-robin game, the Yellowbellies defeated Dublin by two points, on a scoreline of 0-22 – 2-14, however, it was a game that the Yellowbellies seemed to dominate throughout.

Meanwhile, Paul McLoughlin’s Wexford Senior football side host Louth on Sunday May 12th in their respective Leinster championship game. Similarly, the Model County footballers are the underdogs ahead of the game, priced at 15/8 to walk away victorious.
