Wexford’s opponents have been confirmed for their u-20 All-Ireland hurling semi-final clash…
The Wexford u-20 hurlers lost out by two points to Kilkenny in the Leinster final in a packed Innovate Wexford Park lately. However, the changes in format to the u-20 hurling championship meant that Wexford were already through to the All-Ireland semi-final stages, despite the Leinster final result.
After the game, Wexford Weekly learned that they would play the winners of the Munster u-20 championship. That game was played this evening between Cork and Tipperary and it was the Premier County who came out winners under dramatic circumstances with a last-second goal, on a scoreline of 3-15 to 2-17.
Tipperary will now face the Yellowbellies with a venue, date and time TBC. Leinster champions Kilkenny will face Cork in the other semi-final.
Additional details will be provided here once confirmed.
