Eleven year old Michael O’Brien from Kerry is nothing short of an inspiration…
On last year’s Late Late Toy Show, he spoke passionately about his love for GAA and how he’d love to meet the Wexford hurling manager, Davy Fitzgerald.
That night, Davy appeared as a special guest on the chat show, where he presented the young Kerry native with some Wexford gear, and invited him down to Wexford’s National Hurling League match against Tipperary.
RTE followed Davy Fitzgerald and Michael O’Brien throughout the process to create a fifty-minute long show about the time ‘When Michael Met Davy‘, and it’s fair to say it didn’t dissapoint.
