Many counties throughout Ireland have already introduced a weekend pass for club matches. After purchasing a ticket for €15 or even €20, this would allow you to watch all Senior, Intermediate and Junior games for that whole weekend.

Without doubt, there would be an added incentive to go to more games if the weekend pass was introduced, which in turn would create an even better atmosphere for the players involved.

There have already been calls from high-profile GAA members to introduce this in their own counties. Offaly GAA legend Brian Carroll was one, and Offaly GAA listened.

Clare, Cork, Carlow, Offaly, Laois, Armagh and Tipperary, are just some counties that have already introduced the GAA weekend pass, while Meath GAA have moved a step further, streaming championship games weekly on Meath TV for an annual fee of €39.
