In the last round of the Wexford football championship, Sarsfields faced Kilanerin in Bellefield. Sarsfields needed a late Lee Chin goal, six-minutes into additional time, to secure a draw for the Butters, which meant they’ve now avoided the relegation final.

The game finished 1-11 apiece, and with the help of Chin’s late goal, last years county finalists Kilanerin will now face St Annes in the relegation final.
