St Martins Set For Replay After Leinster Final Stalemate With Dublin Champs

It was a weekend to forget for the St Martins Senior hurling team, as All-Ireland Champions Ballyhale Shamrocks cruised to victory in the Leinster Club semi-final…

The following day, the St Martins Senior camógie team, managed by current Wexford selector JJ Doyle, set their sights on Leinster Championship glory of their own.

St Martins, who are the reigning champions in the competition, faced Dublin champions St Vincents this afternoon, but the sides could not be separated at full-time, with the scores tied at 0-10 apiece.

The Dublin side were 0-10 to 0-09 up in the remaining few minutes, but St Martins’ Sarah O’Connor pointed in the closing stages to bring the sides level.

Both teams will now look forward to another Leinster final day-out, which will take place next weekend with a venue and time to be confirmed.
