When a new sponsor comes on board, a new jersey soon follows..
Internationally recognised insurance brand, Zurich Insurance, have came on board with Wexford GAA as their new main sponsor.
The sponsorship deal comes after GAIN Feeds’ five-year deal with the Model County.
Zurich will be on board with the Yellowbellies for four years, starting January 2020.
There’s an excitement building throughout the county ahead of the release of the newly designed Wexford GAA jersey with the new sponsor. With fashionista Paul Galvin involved with the Wexford footballers, some suggested he would play a central role in its creation.
But, little has been known about the process.
Unfortunately, it has now emerged that its unlikely that Wexford supporters will be able to purchase the ‘new Wexford jersey’ for a Christmas gift.
Reports suggest that this is because GAIN still remain sponors until January 1st 2020. If that is the case, it would be a blow for Wexford GAA to miss out on the Christmas market.
Despite it reportedly not being on public sale until January, there are plans to unveil the new Wexford jersey to the genreal public in early December.
