Wexford defeated Kilkenny in the Walsh Cup semi-final today…

Wexford’s lead never looked in doubt. A first-half goal by newcomer Mikie Dwyer saw Wexford move into the break with a six-point lead.

Wexford’s second goal came from Bunclody’s Aidan Nolan.

Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford side will now face Galway in the Walsh Cup final, which will be a repeat of last year’s Walsh Cup final, and the fixture details have since been confirmed for that upcoming clash.
