Wexford’s Opponents Confirmed For The Oscar Traynor Quarter-Finals

The draw for the Oscar Traynor Cup was held yesterday…

Wexford have been drawn against Shane Keegan’s Clare in the quarter-finals.

The Banner have home advantage for the clash, which will take place next month at the County Grounds in Doora on February 29th.

Meanwhile, in other Wexford soccer news, Gorey Rangers have found out their opponents for the FAI Junior Cup; the Gorey side, managed by Ben Casserly, will face the winners of Tolka Rovers and Castlebar Celtic.

After defeating Cashel of Tipperary by five goals to nil, the Gorey town football side will be looking forward to this clash, which will be played at an away venue on the weekend ending February 2nd.

Two years ago, Wexford side North End won the FAI Junior Cup after they defeated Pike Rovers at the Aviva Stadium.
