Wexford Football Star Signs For Brighton And Hove Albion

If anyone deserved a move, it’s this person…

Wexford native Rianna Jarrett is set make a move over to Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Republic of Ireland star was instrumental in Wexford Youths’ successes over the past several years.

She joins Brighton and Hove Albion on a six-month-deal, until the end of the 2019-2020 season.

Speaking on the signing of the 25-year-old attacker, Brighton manager Hope Powell said:

“It is great news that we have managed to bring Rianna to the club, as she is someone who will bolster our forward options.

“We have kept a close eye on her progress in Ireland, and I know she was very keen to come over to England and prove herself in the Women’s Super League.

“We are all very much looking forward to seeing how she progresses in the months ahead, and cannot wait to start working with her.”
