The major talking point following the Wexford and Dublin clash was the performance of the referee…

Naomh Eanna club-man Conor McDonald was sent off by referee Johnny Murphy shortly after his introduction to the field during the second-half.
Both sets of supporters questioned the sending off at the time.
McDonald, and Wexford GAA, have since appealed the sending off and it has now emerged that the appeal was successful.
The red-card was reduced to a yellow-card, which means the Wexford attacker will be available for selection this weekend when Davy Fitzgerald’s side welcome neighbours Carlow to Wexford Park.
