A 24-year-old man has been jailed for three months and banned off the road for twenty-eight years…
Denis Constantin from Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, pleaded guilty to two charges and other motoring offences.
He was stopped twice by gardaí over the Easter weekend – on Good Friday and again on Easter Monday – more than 2km from his home without a valid reason. When stopped, he also admitted to other offences including driving without a licence or insurance while disqualified.
Judge Brian O’Shea said the offences were at the top end of the scale considering he was also driving without insurance. The Judge then disqualified him from driving for twenty-eight years.
