Major Spike In Number Of Confirmed Coronavirus Cases In Wexford

It feels like the Coronavirus is just about starting to hit Wexford…

A major spike in Wexford’s confirmed coronavirus cases brings the county’s tally to 137. This is a rise of 23, and by far, it’s Wexford’s biggest daily increase of confirmed cases to date.

Beforehand, the biggest daily increase was 14, which occurred yesterday 21 April.

A further 49 deaths coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in the Republic of Ireland, along with an additional 631 newly confirmed cases.

Yesterday, the Department of Health released figures on recoveries in the Republic of Ireland for the first time, which are available here.
