Odhrán Murphy, a Wexford native, set a fundraising target of €12,000. With the Government’s restrictions, he came up with the idea of running a marathon in his estate.
Odhrán has now surpassed his €12,000 target, with all funds going to Childline.
In his GoFundMe, he highlighted that while we are encouraged to #StayHome, home is not always the safest place for children. Since the pandemic, there has also been a rise in the number of children using such services like Childline and other available services.
