How Do Wexford’s Coronavirus Cases Compare With Other Counties In The Republic?

Another three cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in Wexford this evening..

In the Republic of Ireland, 139 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed at today’s press release, while an additional 15 Covid-related deaths were noted.

The new cases bring the total number of cases to 23,135, while the number of deaths in the Republic of Ireland has now sadly reached 1,467.

Here, we look at the county-by-county analysis starting with the most Coronavirus cases and working our way down the list to the least. The brackets represent an increase from yesterday’s announcement:

Dublin 11175 (+107)
Kildare 1331 (+7)
Cork 1232 (+25)
Meath 760 (+2)
Cavan 753 (+1)
Louth 730 (+9)
Wicklow 646 (+3)
Westmeath 643 (+2)
Limerick 582 (+10)
Tipperary 523 (+6)
Mayo 522 (0)
Donegal 472 (+3)
Monaghan 449 (+2)
Galway 392 (+4)
Offaly 351 (+1)
Clare 305 (+2)
Kerry 303 (0)
Kilkenny 280 (+3)
Longford 267 (+3)
Laois 248 (+1)
Roscommon 247 (+12)
Wexford 202 (+3)
Waterford 143 (0)
Carlow 141 (+2)
Sligo 123 (+7)
Leitrim 74 (+8)

The figures shows that Wexford have the fifth least amount of Coronavirus cases in the Republic of Ireland. It also must be noted that this table does not include the six counties from Northern Ireland.

Despite this, we must continue to adhere to the Government’s guidelines and we must not let complacency creep in.
