Wexford Community Group ‘Masks 4 All’ Accomplish Their Goal

A Wexford community group who were creating and delivering face masks have now accomplished their mission…

Masks 4 All Wexford have now accomplished their target.

The Wexford community group aimed to highlight the importance of wearing face masks where maintaining the two metre distance was not possible.

The group was survived by volunteers, who, overall, created 2,000 home-made face masks for other local community volunteers. Likewise, the help from various businesses throughout Wexford such as Wallaces of Wellington Bridge and Carrie’s Creations in New Ross, who donated material for the project, must be applauded too.

These free face masks were delivered by volunteer delivery group, Bravo Charlie Tango, who are a group of bikers delivering essential emergency equipment to communities across Ireland throughout the pandemic.

Now that the Irish Government have advised the public to wear home-made face masks to inhibit the spread of infection, the Wexford community group are hanging up their needles. Just like the Government’s advice, the community group are encouraging the public to create their own home-made face masks.
