New Update Now Provided On Covid-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment

We’ll be able to travel beyond our 5km restrictions from Monday…

From Monday onwards, the public will be able up to travel 20km, both inside and outside of the county.

Along with that, another update has been provided for the Covid-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment.

The payment will become a two-tier system. Those who earned €200per/week before the pandemic or over will continue to receive €350 per week until Phase 5.

For part-time workers and for people earning less than €199.99, their Covid-19 unemployment payment will be cut to €203 per/week. This two-tier system will not commence until Phase 3 (June 29th).
