A man was rushed to Beaumont Hospital today following a firearms incident in Courtown Co Wexford..
Reports surfaced on Thursday afternoon following an incident which took place in the Courtown area of Gorey, Wexford.
A firearm incident took place, and the Rescue 117 helicopter brought a man to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
Speaking to Wexford Weekly, a Garda spokesperson confirmed the incident:
“A man has been taken to Beaumont Hospital following a firearms incident that occurred today, 25/06/2020, in the Courtown area of Gorey.”
Gardai are aware, but no additional information was provided.
