Remake Of Wexford’s 1996 All-Ireland Jersey Sells Out In Minutes

The remake of the 1996 All-Ireland jersey was only online for a number of minutes…

Irish-based business Órga Retrowear placed a cracking remake of Wexford’s 1996 All-Ireland winning jersey on sale.

The jersey, which was available on Friday, was literally only online for several minutes as Wexford hurling supporters eagerly snapped up the jerseys.

The fact that the jersey sold out in all sizes in just a matter of minutes highlighted the significant demand for the jersey.

Speaking to David Morrissey, the owner of Órga Retrowear, he expressed his delight and has reassured us that there will be more Wexford 1996 jerseys added to Órga’s stock and that orders will be fulfilled by mid-July.

To avoid disappointment next time, David has created an option to pre-order the replica 1996 Wexford jersey.

“I had expected that these jerseys would be a roaring success, but never in my wildest dreams did I expect them to sell out so quickly. It really was fantastic,” David said.

“However, I am aware that a lot of people missed out, so I felt it’s only right to give people another chance to buy this stunning piece. I’m aware that this jersey celebrates a famous occasion in Wexford’s hurling history,” he continued.

“I’m hoping that the pre-orders will be fulfilled by mid-July.”

Priced at just €39.99, the slick-fitting Wexford 1996 jersey is an an absolute steal.

Despite the fact that it was 24 years ago, the joys of 1996 strongly resonates with the people of Wexford and the speed in which the jersey sold out on Friday evening reaffirms that statement.

Órga Retrowear emerged onto our screens last year too, after the company placed a popular remake of Wexford’s 1970’s-1980’s jersey on sale to the general public. If you are interested in purchasing the retro Wexford 1970s-1980s jersey, there’s only a limited number in stock. Priced from just €34.99, it’s another option if you’re looking to rock the retro wear this Summer.
