Dunbar A Major Doubt For Coming Weeks After Tackle From Rapps Game

It’s likely that Naomh Eanna will be preparing for their next clashes without one of their star players…

Wexford Senior hurler Cathal Dunbar is a doubt for Naomh Eanna’s upcoming clashes after he picked up an injury in their latest win against the Rapparees.

Dunbar went down with the injury at the time — and it has now emerged that he will likely be missing some of the club’s next games due to having bruised ribs.

Quite surprisingly, the Rapparees club-man did not pick up a card for this tackle as the Naomh Eanna man darted through on goal.

Check out how Dunbar picked up the injury here:

A penalty from Conor McDonald saw Naomh Eanna clinch victory in the final moments of that game, which knocked the Enniscorthy side out of this year’s championship.

Naomh Eanna and the Shelmaliers will be playing next — but both are already through to the quarter-final stages of the competition.
