Potential Pairings For The Wexford Senior Hurling Championship Quarter-Finals Revealed

Wexford GAA made the draw for the quarter-finals of the Wexford Senior hurling championship this evening..

The draw for the Wexford SH quarter-finals are:

Winner Group D vs Runner Up Group B

Winner Group B vs Runner Up Group D

Winner Group A vs Runner Up Group C

Winner Group C vs Runner Up Group A

We had a quick look at the tables and this is how it’s looking:

Winner Group D vs Runner Up Group B:

(Shelmaliers or Naomh Eanna) vs (Faythe Harriers/Ferns/Fethard)

Winner Group B vs Runner Up Group D

(Faythe Harriers/Ferns/Fethard) vs (Shelmaliers or Naomh Eanna)

Naomh Eanna will play the Shelmaliers in the final group round, which will decide who comes first and second in Group D. Meanwhile, the result of the Faythe Harriers and Fethard game will decide who finishes first and second in their respective group.

Winner Group A vs Runner Up Group C

(St Martins) vs (Glynn Barntown or Rathnure)

St Martins have topped their group after winning both of their group games. Glynn-Barntown play Rathnure in their final group game, which will decide who finishes second and moves into the quarter-final against St Martins.

Winner Group C vs Runner Up Group A

(St Anne’s) vs (Oulart or Cloughbawn)

After winning their two games, St Anne’s are through to the quarter-final stages. Both Oulart-The Ballagh and Cloughbawn will battle it out for a place in the quarter-finals against St Annes.
