The Wexford County Council are now in the process of closing some of the car parks close to some popular beaches in Wexford..
The car parks at both Curracloe and Raven have now been closed off by the Wexford County Council.
The beach remains open — but you’ll have to walk from a further distance to enter the beach.
Our beaches are packed today. Please stay away at this time, take care of yourself and of others. Our little island is extremely fragile right now. Economically & on a human level we dont want another lockdown. #WexfordTogether @aaroadwatch @rtenews @SouthEastRadio @beat102103— Wexford County Co. (@wexfordcoco) August 9, 2020
The move comes after Wexford and Ireland has seen a sharp rise of coronavirus cases again.
