Established Wexford Shop Shares Heartbreaking Message As They Close Down

A long-established and well-respected coffee shop in Wexford is closing down…

Toffee and Thyme, a beautiful coffee shop in the heart of Enniscorthy, will be closing its doors as a result of the pandemic.

The coffee shop shared a heartbreaking goodbye and thank you message to their customers, which they posted on the door of their store.

The message on the door, penned by Pauline Maguire, was shared by journalist Amy Molloy onto her Twitter profile.

Family-run businesses, coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and many other facilities across the country are feeling the financial impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic following a nationwide lockdown.

Here’s hoping that we do not enter another lockdown, that the Coronavirus filters out, and that businesses can start to improve again as the new normal is now upon us.
