Do Not Swim Notice For Three Of Wexford’s Beaches

A notice has been placed at three Wexford beaches…

A ‘do not swim’ notice has been placed on three Wexford beaches.

Those beaches include Ballymoney North, Duncannon, and Booley Bay Beach.

These three Wexford beaches have had “do not swim” notices erected after the Wexford County Council reported high levels of bacteria in the bathing water.

This news could be quite annoying for people who are on their staycations — but these people should be rest assured, knowing that Wexford’s coastline stretches over 200km and there’s plenty more beaches still to enjoy, weather permitting of course.
