Liam Dunne Predicts Winner Of Wexford Senior Hurling Final

The Wexford Senior Hurling final will take place this Sunday…

The 2020 final, which takes place this year between Naomh Eanna and the Shelmaliers, is one we are all looking forward to.

The game will be broadcasted live on TG4, with throw-in at 2pm.

One team and manager that should count themselves unlucky not to be featuring on Sunday, is Oulart-The Ballagh and their manager Liam Dunne. Dunne’s Oulart side lost out in the semi-final to the Naomh Eanna men by the bare minimum after Gorey’s full-forward Conor McDonald hit a late winner.

As a guest on a recent SportsJoe.ie The GAA Hour show with Colm Parkinson, the former Wexford player, manager, and current Oulart-The Ballagh manager weighed in on this weekend’s Wexford Senior hurling final.

After deliberating and discussing the various positives of each side, Dunne said:

“If I had to stick my neck out, Conor McDonald will have to score a goal or two for Gorey to win the game. And I think they might just win it by a point at the end of the game. They’ve won three games already by a point and I see no reason why they won’t win the County final on Sunday by a point.”

“It’ll be a real humdinger,” he noted.
