Good News As Kerlogue Nursing Home Given The All Clear From Covid

Kerlogue Nursing home in Co Wexford has been given the all clear after testing took place last week…

“All staff and residents were tested last week for Covid 19, but that all tests have brought back a negative swab,” Kerlogue Nursing home revealed in a statement released to their social media channels.

The nursing home said that although it’s a positive outcome, it will be closed to visitors until Monday 31st of August.

Unfortunately, it had emerged that a resident of Kerlogue Nursing Home had passed away there last week after contracting Covid-19. To date, Kerlogue have been excellent, who have provided regular updates about the situation.

They say they will remain vigilant and continue the protocols that remain in place to protect both staff and residents.

To date, 265 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Wexford since the outbreak began.
