Missing: Concerns For Missing Homeless Man Who Was Sleeping Rough In Wexford

There are concerns for an Antrim native who was sleeping rough in Wexford…

Neil McCann arrived in Wexford with nothing. He had linked up with a local Wexford charity — Wexford People Helping People, or WPHP.

The local charity, ran by Claire Malone and a team of volunteers, supplied the man in his 50s with bedding material, a tent, and other materials.

The charity are now very concerned about Neil’s well-being.

There have been reported sightings of the man — but at the time of writing , the charity have confirmed to Wexford Weekly that they still haven’t linked up with Neil and that they’re still as concerned.

People are urged to contact the Wexford People Helping People Facebook page or their local Garda station should they have any additional information.

The Gardai in Wexford have been notified and are working alongside the charity. They have looked at CCTV footage after reported sightings of the man crossing Wexford bridge.

The man was sleeping rough at Ferrybank in Wexford town, while a blue back-pack, believed to be Neil’s which was given to him by the charity, was found at the Rocks.
