A new Daft.ie report was published recently…
The report analyses recent trends in the Irish rental market. The average nationwide cost of rent per-month stands at €1,419.
As per the quarterly report on Daft.ie, the average cost to rent a house in Wexford is €896 per-month. This compares to a cost of €1,489 average monthly cost in neighbours Wicklow and €1,028 in Carlow.
As expected, of all the cities, Dublin had by far the highest rent cost per-month.
Dublin City: €2,028
Cork City: €1,443
Galway City: €1,363
Limerick City: €1,260
Waterford City: €1,058
Interestingly, the report also highlighted that only 448 were homes available to rent in Leinster (outside Dublin) on November 1, the lowest ever total since the start of the series in January 2006.
