Wexford Native To Referee This Weekend’s All-Ireland Hurling Semi-Final

Well, it looks like Wexford will be represented in the All-Ireland Senior hurling semi-final after all..

It has been confirmed that a familiar face will be the man-in-the-middle for an All-Ireland Senior hurling semi-final clash.

Askamore-Kilrush clubman James Owens will be the referee for the Galway and Limerick clash which takes place this weekend.

At this stage, Owens is well-used to the big days out; the Wexford native also refereed the 2019 All-Ireland SHC final.

Kilkenny face Waterford in the other semi-final and both should be great games.

Meanwhile, another Wexford-man — Gearoid McGrath — will be refereeing the Lory Meagher Final on Saturday in Croke Park.
