The coastal village of Kilmuckridge-Morriscastle received silverware in the 2020 Pride of Place awards which took place recently.
The pride of place awards is an all-island competition that aims to acknowledge the work that communities are doing across the land. The competition focus is about people coming together to shape, change and improve daily lives in their communities.
The coastal village of Kilmuckridge-Morriscastle in North Wexford won the ‘Islands and Coastal Communities’ prize, which was Category 11 of the national ‘Pride of Place’ competition.
