Long-Serving Wexford Senior Hurler Calls It A Day

A long-serving Wexford Senior hurler has decided to call it a day..

The now-former Wexford Senior hurler, Eanna Martin, has called it a day and has retired from inter-county hurling with the Yellowbellies.

Martin enjoyed a lengthy career with the Model County and no doubt, was a versatile player for Wexford throughout the years as he played in multiple positions, even the goal!

He was a member of Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford Senior hurling panel that won silverware in last year’s Leinster Senior hurling championship, the first piece of Senior championship silverware since 2004.

Well-earned tributes have poured in across social media for Eanna Martin throughout the day thanking him for his service in the Purple and Gold.
