Popular Wexford Hotel Closes Temporarily Due To Positive Covid-19 Cases

A popular Wexford hotel has made the decision to close its doors..

The Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy has decided to temporarily close its doors this evening.

They have closed their doors after two employees at the hotel tested positive for Covid-19. Hotel management hope to re-open their doors following December 26th, however, they have emphasised that the safety of their guests remains paramount first.

There has been a rise in Covid-19 figures recently.

Notably, 45 Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Wexford today.

NPHET and Cabinet will be meeting this Tuesday and it is expected that the Republic of Ireland will have increased restrictions imposed for the Festive period.
