Over FOUR HUNDRED New Cases Of Covid-19 In Wexford In The Past 24 Hours

Over four hundred new Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Wexford in the past 24 hours…

Today, , Wexford registered a record-high 405 new cases of Covid-19.

1,784 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Wexford in the previous two weeks. Wexford’s 14-day incidence rate now stands at 1191.5, while the national incidence rate for the Republic of Ireland is 1162.2 per 100,000 people.

With those numbers, it’s safe to say that one in every hundred people in Wexford had Covid-19 in the previous two weeks.

This was confirmed following this evening’s press statement.

It was a day when 4,832 new cases were confirmed in the Republic of Ireland and when an additional nine people have unfortunately died as a result of the virus.

With the rising numbers, we encourage everyone to stay safe and to stay at home. Together, we will get through this. There is light at the end of the tunnel as Covid-19 vaccinations are currently being rolled out across the country.
