More Wexford Success At Cheltenham In The Last Race Of The Festival

The Cheltenham Festival has ended for another year, but it was one to remember for Wexford…

Today, in the last race at Cheltenham, Wexford jockey Sean O’Keeffe rode Galopin Des Champs to victory in the 4:50.

It was a beautifully timed ride by the Taghmon native. It capped off a great week for the Wexford who were represented very well throughout the festival.

Paul Nolan trained horses to victory, 20-year-old Jordan Gainford rode a winner, Sean Flanagan rode 80/1 shot ‘Jeff Kidderand’ to victory, and now Sean O’Keeffe has rode another winner.

It’s great to see Wexford being so well represented at some of the biggest stages.
