There Could Be A Wexford Rissole Jambon On Our Shelves In The Near Future

This is one headline we never thought we’d be writing..

But yes, you did read that correctly. Catriona Barron from Drinagh in County Wexford has been short-listed by Golden Bake to be the ‘Head Jambon’ taster.

“I went for the role because I love Jambons. I’d love to create my very own flavour and, if you follow me, you would see that I’m a big foodie who loves creating recipes,” Catriona said.

Wexford woman Catriona has been short-listed along with three other candidates. The short-listed candidate with the most social media likes, shares, and comments will be crowned the ‘Head Jambon’ taster.

The candidate named ‘Head Jambon Taster’ will get to create their own jambon, which we’ll see on our shelves in the near future.

Catriona, who is passionate about baking and cooking, believes that the “list is endless” with regards to potential new recipes, but we shouldn’t rule out a “Wexford rissole Jambon.”

The winner also receives one full year’s supply of the full range of Golden Bake Jambons.

Voting closes 31 March 2021 at midnight. Make sure to head on over to the Golden Bake Instagram post below to support Catriona with the Wexford vote!
