It’s good news for Wexford GAA fans. This month, the Liam Griffin Laochra Gael episode will be aired…
In December 2020, we reported that there will be a Laochra Gael episode dedicated to Wexford’s former manager, Liam Griffin.
Griffin is one of a dozen GAA heroes to feature in this year’s Laochra Gael episode on TG4 which, once again, has received star ratings from GAA fans.
Tonight at 9:30, the Pete McGrath episode will be aired. Next week it’ll be Briege Corkery. On April 15th, it’ll be Bernard Flynn and then Tyrone’s Sean Cavanagh on April 22nd.
The Liam Griffin episode will air on April 29th, 9:30pm, on TG4.
The other eleven include Kilkenny’s Eoin Larkin, Down’s Pete McGrath, Cork camogie and ladies football legend Briege Corkery, Meath footballer Bernard Flynn, Tyrone’s Seán Cavanagh, Donegal’s Kevin Cassidy, the Tipperary and Dublin hurler Ryan O’Dwyer, Galway camogie star Therese Maher, Roscommon’s Shane Curran, Offaly All-Ireland winner Johnny Pilkington and Kildare football great Dermot Earley.
