Wexford Man Dreaming Of An Aintree Grand National Win

In sport, it’s always good to perform at the highest level…

When it comes to horse racing, winning races such as the Gold Cups are the races that every jockey, trainer, and owner dreams of winning. Another huge event on the horse-racing calendar is the Grand National.

Wexford-based trainer Paul Nolan also desires them big wins.

The Paul Nolan trainer horse Discorama has been added to the list of Aintree Grand National entrants, an event which is due to take place on April 10th.

“It would be fantastic if he could put on a good show at Aintree,” he said.

“It’s everyone’s dream to win the National.”

“He’s been a very consistent horse and he’s had three good runs at Cheltenham,” he said, speaking to The Irish Mirror.

Discorama has a chance and he’s currently priced at 25/1 in the major bookmakers. However, like all Grand Nationals, it’ll be a tough race as Discorama will be up against top-class horses such as Cloth Cap, Any Second Now and Burrows Saint.
